Overview
The Native Instruments Maschine+ is a standalone production and performance system that brings the power of Native Instruments' acclaimed software ecosystem into a hardware unit capable of operating completely independently from a computer. The 16 large, velocity-sensitive pads with full-color displays beneath each pad provide visual feedback for sample content, pattern status, and parameter values, creating an immersive, screen-free workflow that keeps the producer's focus on playing rather than staring at a monitor. Running the Maschine 2 engine internally, the Maschine+ includes over 8GB of factory content with drum kits, instruments, and loops, and it supports NI's Massive, Monark, Prism, and other synthesizer engines natively. The dual high-resolution color displays and eight touch-sensitive rotary encoders provide deep parameter access without a computer. The eight-group, unlimited-pattern architecture enables complex arrangements, and the mixer section provides per-group levels, panning, and send effects. Four line outputs, MIDI I/O, and a headphone output facilitate studio and live integration. When connected to a computer, Maschine+ functions as a premium Maschine controller with full plugin hosting capabilities. The Maschine+ is ideal for producers and performers who want NI's sound library and workflow in a portable, standalone format. The standalone mode supports fewer plugins than the computer-connected mode, and the unit is heavier than competing portable samplers.
