Its primary strength lies in its organic texture; the chorus mode provides a thick, syrupy width that avoids the metallic harshness of digital emulations, while the vibrato mode offers a pitch-warping character that ranges from subtle movement to dizzying lo-fi warbles.
What sets this apart from other analog units is the utility. JHS has managed to cram tap tempo and a waveform toggle (sine, square, and triangle) into a standard-sized enclosure, providing rhythmic control rarely found in BBD pedals.
