The Warwick Thumb BO is a bolt-on neck variant of Warwick's iconic Thumb bass, offering the distinctive compact body shape and growling midrange tone the model is celebrated for. It features an ovangkol body with a wenge neck and wenge fingerboard, producing a dense, resonant instrument with the naturally dark, aggressive voice that defines the Warwick sound. The two active MEC pickups with a two-band EQ deliver a focused, punchy tone with exceptional midrange definition and a pronounced growl that has made the Thumb a favorite among rock, metal, and funk players. The compact, sculpted body design with the small upper horn creates a unique ergonomic profile that sits high on the body when strapped, facilitating fast playing across the entire fingerboard.
