The Marshall DSL20CR is a 20-watt all-tube combo amplifier that captures the essence of the DSL series in a more compact and volume-friendly package. Powered by a pair of EL34 output tubes with three ECC83 preamp tubes, it delivers the same British-voiced gain structure through a 12-inch Celestion V-Type speaker that provides a warmer, more balanced tone than the stock speaker found in its bigger sibling. The two-channel design offers clean and crunch voicings on the classic channel and two levels of gain on the ultra channel, giving players access to a broad range of tones from shimmering cleans to thick, saturated distortion. A switchable 20-watt to 10-watt power reduction makes it practical for studio use, practice rooms, and smaller club gigs. Reverb is built in and adjustable per channel, while the effects loop accommodates time-based and modulation pedals.
